So how the hell I manage to beat other web hosting companies in Malaysia for the keyword? What’s the real secret behind it?

First secret: Internal linking

To be honest, RM10 extra for the domain is acceptable as you need to have extra knowledge just to save RM10. You need to know about DNS and you need to learn how to properly configure your DNS and point them to Namsahaz. Unless you like to do the dirty work, always consider to buy the domain name along with the web hosting.

In this guide I will clearly explain all steps needed to find the gold mine keywords. Please read it carefully so that you are not missing any important step.

The very first step in doing keyword research is to find a keyword that has significant amount of traffics from the search engine. This data can be obtained by using Google Adwords Keyword tool.

For this purpose, I use SEO SpyGlass to analyze the backlinks for each of the competitors that sit on the first page. If their backlinks are less than 30, I will consider the keyword as suitable for optimization. Otherwise, I will forget the keyword as I need to spend a lot of time in creating quality backlinks in order to dominate Google search.

Now you know how I am able to squeeze some money from a personal blog without neither loyal readers nor commentators. But am I still doing those methods in finding the golden mine?

Why authority is important? If you check the keyword ‘tablet laptop’ on the picture above, you can find that the average links for the keyword are only 38. That means the keyword should be easy to be dominated. However Niche Finder marked the keyword using red color. Why?

That is because every site on the top ten results for the keyword has high authority on Google’s eyes. See the picture below to have better view about the websites that appear on the top ten results. Unless you do great job of link building, there is no way you can beat authority website such as Wikipedia and PC World for keyword ‘tablet laptop’.

You should be lucky to have Niche Finder as you can foresee how hard it is to compete on a keyword although the backlinks and overall results are not that much.
